Victory Bible Church International Ordains 44 Clergy Members at Grand Service in Tema

Tema, Ghana – November 22, 2025 – Victory Bible Church International (VBCI) held a momentous ordination service on November 22, 2025, at its main church in Tema, where a total of 44 men and women were ordained to serve in various leadership roles within the church. The service was a significant occasion for the church community as it recognized the commitment and dedication of these new clergy members.

A total of 9 Reverent Ministers, 15 Pastors, 10 Elders, and 10 Deacons and Deaconesses were officially ordained in a grand service attended by church leaders, dignitaries, and members of the VBCI congregation.

The ordination ceremony, which took place at the church's main auditorium in Tema, was an inspiring celebration of faith and service. The event featured prayers, hymns, and speeches from senior church officials.

The wife of Bishop Tackie-Yarboi, who is a prominent figure within the church, also played a key role in the event. She spoke during the service and led the closing prayer, blessing the newly ordained leaders and encouraging them to remain steadfast in their commitment to their calling and to serve with humility and dedication.

In her address, she emphasized the importance of the new clergy members' roles in guiding and nurturing the faith of the congregation, reminding them of the responsibility they now carry in the church and the community.

The ordination ceremony marked the culmination of months of preparation, training, and spiritual development for the new clergy members, who demonstrated strong leadership potential and a deep commitment to their faith. The event was not only a recognition of their individual callings but also reinforced VBCI’s mission to spread the message of Christ and serve the wider community.

Each new pastor, elder, deacon, and deaconess was presented with a certificate of ordination and a Bible as symbols of their commitment to God’s work. The service concluded with a heartfelt prayer of blessing for the new ministers, followed by a reception where church members and well-wishers congratulated the newly ordained leaders.

The ordination of these 44 clergy members is seen as a significant step in the growth and expansion of Victory Bible Church International, which continues to play a vital role in shaping the spiritual lives of individuals and communities throughout the Tema Province and beyond.
